Taking the Fear out of Headstand
When headstand is approached with smart prep work designed to build the strength, control, & confidence we need to practice this inversion well, the pose can be quite fun and empowering! This practice will help you move toward your goal of headstand in a strength-based way and it will also help you improve and solidify the headstand you're already doing if this pose is already in your practice.
(And side note: all of your other inversions will benefit from the excellent shoulder and core-focused work in this class as well!) Enjoy moving away from fear and toward a strong and stable headstand!
This practice utilizes 1-2 yoga blocks and a sliding surface (yoga blanket over a smooth floor or paper plates over carpet, etc.)
