Meet Jenni Rawlings
Jenni Rawlings is a yoga teacher with an emphasis on anatomy, biomechanics, and movement science. She teaches playful-yet-strong yoga classes that integrate opportunities for new and novel movements to continually challenge the body & the mind.

Jenni Rawlings, E-RYT has completed a wealth of trainings & learning in the fields of yoga, anatomy, biomechanics, and human movement.
She teaches yoga classes and workshops on her website, so you can practice and learn with her any time!
Jenni is also the co-founder of Strength for Yoga (along with Exercise Science professor Travis Pollen), which empowers yogis to bring strength into their movement practice.

Jenni is also the co-host of the popular Yoga Meets Movement Science podcast. She also she writes regularly for her body geek-focused yoga blog.
Jenni completed a 6-month mentorship with Chris Beardsley, director of Strength & Conditioning Research and an expert on the science of strength training. She also completed a 500hr YTT with her main yoga mentor Jules Mitchell, MS. She’s also a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP®) and offers CE credit through Yoga Alliance for all of her continuing education workshops on her website.
Jenni owned Drishti, the nation's first stand-alone yoga clothing store, from 2002-2017. She also taught regular yoga classes for many years at Santa Barbara’s most beloved yoga studio, Yoga Soup. Jenni graduated with B.A.'s in both Religious Studies and Cultural Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara.
Jenni is originally from California, spent a couple of years in Chicago, and now lives with her husband and two dogs in Carrboro, NC.
