Wheel Prep Flow

This innovative and fun yoga practice leads us through a series of movements designed to target strength and mobility for wheel pose (urdhva dhanurasana), but all within the context of a creative flow! This active practice focuses on upper body work (but moves the whole body too, of course), and by the end, you should feel well-prepared for a supportive and spacious wheel pose!

(And there’s no requirement to actually practice full wheel pose, of course. You could work on any variation of a backbend at the end, and use this practice as a general upper body-targeted yoga flow instead.)

This class utilizes space at the wall as well as a blanket/towel and a smooth floor to slide across during one part of the practice.
