Pincha Prep Practice (Forearm Balance)

This practice is designed for anyone who is interested in improving their mobility, strength, and coordination to ultimately practice pincha mayurasana (forearm balance)! It’s a short, targeted practice focusing mostly on the shoulders and thoracic spine with a few tips for arm set-up for pincha mayurasana.

This class is focused on prep work for pincha mayurasana, so we don’t actually practice the “full” balanced inversion here. But you are welcome to take some time to play around with coming into the full pose after the video is over!

This class utilizes a chair, a rolled-up yoga blanket, towel, or foam roller, and an optional yoga block.
