Handstand Play & Prep

Please note: there’s no need to be able to hold a middle-of-the-room handstand in order to take this class! :) As long as you’re comfortable bearing weight in your arms and taking some hops in the direction of handstand, this class is for you.

This playful handstand-themed practice starts with a targeted warm-up for handstand, moves into a fun standing flow peppered with handstand hopping options, and ends with some mobility and strength work designed to elicit adaptations in the long term to benefit handstand.

This practice utilizes a couple of optional props: 2 yoga blocks (or books) and 1 yoga strap (or scarf, belt, etc.)
