Hamstring Strength & Length
This class targets hamstring strength with an emphasis on a lengthened or stretched hamstring position. This combination of strength and stretch is an effective way to increase flexibility as well as to build hamstring resiliency and control in this lengthened state. These are beneficial qualities for anyone to work on - but especially yogis!
This class moves through a series of targeted hamstring work woven through a yoga flow, and it culminates with a “peak pose” of flamingo pose - a hovering version of parsvottanasana (pyramid pose).
No props are required for this innovative practice!
