Down Dog Appreciation Practice
Let’s deconstruct the pieces of down dog and put them together for a new experience in this familiar pose!
Downward dog is a pose we tend to do so frequently that we can easily start to practice it on autopilot, without really appreciating or truly observing it.
This class is designed to change that! In this practice, we break downward dog down into its component parts and put them back together again to help facilitate a new experience in this familiar pose!
Once we’ve reimagined our downward dog, we’ll flow through a series of sun salutations to integrate our newfound awareness into a dynamic practice. Finally, we’ll wind down and settle into a grounding savasana.
Two yoga blocks (or household object equivalents) are suggested for this class – but they’re not necessary.
