Active Floor-Based Practice

This practice builds to a peak pose calls "crabby bear". What is crabby bear? Well you'll have to take the class to find out! :) But it's a creative floor-based move that involves both shoulder and hip strength & coordination, and it's a very fun and novel transition.

Note: this practice is called "Active Floor-Based Practice", but just FYI that it actually starts with a short shoulder warm-up that is practiced while standing - and then the rest of the class is done on the floor.

This intelligently-designed class prepares your joints perfectly for the crabby bear move, and in the process you will develop increased shoulder, hip, and core strength & mobility.

This all-levels practice utilizes 2 yoga blocks, 1 blanket, and a yoga mat that you can roll up and grip easily in one hand.
