Thank you SO MUCH for this program!!! I've seriously learned SO much. I've learned how to use weights, how to increase weights, and how to structure workouts. I've learned what I actually like working on and how to specify muscles groups for specific things I’m training. I can’t thank you enough for opening doors for me and introducing me into this world of weights and strength.

Have been happily going along with SFY and it has been a game changer! Been buying new kettlebells each month now, haha. Apart from feeling stronger in my body, physically and mentally, my biggest plus has been that I don't need as much warmup in my yoga practice and teaching many yoga classes has become less of a burden for my body(!). Especially my wrists are finally staying happy with teaching arm balancing focused classes, I guess in large part due to improved grip strength. Anyway, I've been really enjoying this month - best so far!

I'm two days into the first week of the hip opener program and I think it's my favorite since joining SFY (with crow pose specialization a close second; I am rocking a more sturdy crow in my yoga practice thanks to you both!). I'm finding the warm ups and super sets really different and enjoyable. With my dance background, I was definitely of the mind that to open the hips more I had to stretch (forever). I had no idea this was strength related. I continue to enjoy this program because I keep finding new ways to feel empowered and strong. Thanks so much.

I’m on my second go-through of the program so have been doing these, and yesterday I finally installed a “power tower” so I could practice actual pull-ups. I tried one for the first time and can actually do one full pull-up!!! Wasn’t sure how it was gonna go but I’m so excited to progress them and it’s definitely all thanks to your program.

I am loving this program so far! I just finished my third week, and I am already noticing a difference on the mat. I feel stronger already, which is very empowering. As a longtime yogi, this is my first time working on strength training and using weights like this. This program has me looking at strength training in a whole new way. The SFY program is very easy to follow, and I love the links to the video tutorials. I feel strong in some exercises and almost beginner in others (helloooo pull-ups)! I currently teach 14 yoga classes a week, so I was a little worried I’d tire myself out or get too sore to teach, but I’ve found a happy place with it all. I know SFY is helping me personally, but also to be a better guide to my yoga community (11-95 years olds!)

A few weeks ago I started adding some strength training into my movement with Strength for Yoga. It’s not something I’ve done much of before because I’ve felt like I don’t know what I’m doing, and worried about hurting myself. My body seems to be becoming more resilient and I feel generally more capable in life on the daily. I’ve also been pleasantly surprised at how fun I’m finding it! The instruction is so clear in this program.

I am absolutely LOVING the program! I've only been a part of this group for less than a month and I'm almost finding it hard to believe how much stronger I feel (even though I was only doing 2x/week combined with yoga until this week - I’ve increased that to 3x because I feel so good after). Thank you again for coming up with such a fantastic program, it's a real treat. After a few months of sedentary life and pandemic lethargy, I didn't think I’d have the urge to get going with exercise again so quickly!

Final week and I can now lower in pistol squat to my Feetup yoga stool (and more importantly get back up again)... When I started the program I was struggling to lower to a chair so I am very pleased with my progress even if I am still quite a way from full pistol squat. As a 62 year old yoga teacher, gaining more strength in my yoga poses by following the SFY program is really improving my ease and enjoyment of teaching.
