Resistance Band Yoga Flow 2

This excellently-designed yoga flow class from special guest teacher Emily Benaron utilizes the prop of a resistance band to add extra load and strengthening opportunities all throughout the practice. This practice starts with a shoulder-focused warm-up and then moves into a flow-inspired sequence including rotator cuff work, rows, utkatasana arms-overhead work, single leg deadlifts, full-range chaturangas, and more! After all of that, Emily leads us through a perfect cool-down sequence and then into savasana.

Emily uses a 5 foot long, "flat" resistance band of medium strength in this class - but feel free to use any long resistance band that you have and just modify how you hold the band to create the right amount of resistance for your body in each pose. Enjoy this innovative band-centered practice!
