Standing-Only Yoga Practice

This active and creative flow practice is done entirely in standing poses and transitions. So the only part of our body that touches the floor the entire time is our feet! We don’t do any seated poses, hands-and-knees poses, prone poses, or supine poses (not even savasana!) But we do move through a smart practice that thoroughly works the lower body while also integrating effective shoulder and spine mobility moves throughout.

Jenni created this class in response to a request from a website member who happens to be teaching outdoor yoga classes that need to be standing-only. This would also be a great practice for anyone interested in staying off their wrists. And it’s also a fun, well-rounded practice in general that just happens to be standing-only. It just might become a new favorite class if you try it out!

No props are required for this standing-only practice.
